The Tragic Story of a Lost Soul
He was a young man full of emotions and innocence. In his youth, he lived with joy and kindness. His face always carried a bright smile, and he loved meeting new people. He spoke to others with warmth and always encouraged them to smile. He never backbit about anyone, nor did he ever hurt anyone’s feelings.
He loved children dearly and always respected his elders. With his teachers, he behaved politely and never disobeyed them. He had many good habits, and people around him admired his character. His parents were very happy with him because he always respected them and brought peace into their home.
Every day, he met people, listened to them carefully, and was always ready to help anyone in need. His life was simple, pure, and full of kindness.
He had a close friend who was a Muslim, while he himself was a Christian. His friend’s father was a Muslim judge. He often visited his friend’s house, and everyone there appreciated his good behavior and gentle nature.
One day, while he was visiting his friend’s house, the Muslim judge was also present. The judge invited him to accept Islam and said:
The young man replied calmly:
But the judge continued and described “worldly paradise”:
He said his daughter was like a “virgin of paradise,” and if he accepted Islam, he could marry her. He also promised to build him a beautiful home like paradise and give him a share of his property.
The young man began to think deeply. He had never experienced such offers before. He thought about the judge’s beautiful daughter, a comfortable home, and financial stability. He compared it with his own poor situation.
Slowly, he made a decision. He accepted the judge’s proposal.
The judge took him to the mosque in the evening. After prayer, in front of people, the judge announced:
The crowd congratulated him. He was taken to a hospital for medical procedures, and everything was completed.
Later, he told the judge he wanted to visit his parents to inform them of his decision. The judge allowed him.
When he reached his home after two days, his parents were overjoyed to see him. His mother kissed his forehead and asked where he had been.
He replied:
When his mother heard this, she was shocked and sat down in silence. Then she said with pain:
The young man left his home.
He went back to the Muslim judge, but instead of welcome, he was told:
At that moment, something inside him broke completely.
He stood still. His mind stopped working. He did not know where to go. His body felt heavy, his movements became strange, and he lost control of himself.
People began to notice him wandering aimlessly. He could no longer recognize anyone. He walked on the streets, bumping into people, talking to himself, disconnected from reality.
People started calling him “mentally disturbed.”
An old friend recognized him and took him back toward his parents’ house. But when they arrived, a voice came from inside:
His friend left him outside the door.
Neither his family accepted him anymore, nor did the people who once welcomed him. His smile disappeared forever. His happiness was gone. His life turned into silence, confusion, and loneliness.
He remained sitting outside the door of his house — unwanted, forgotten, and lost between two worlds.
A life once full of love, respect, and kindness ended in complete isolation.
He no longer understood the world around him. He became a shadow of his own existence… sitting outside the door of “paradise” he was promised.
The End.
