HEC Undergraduate New Policy

HEC Undergraduate New Policy (NEW)
There will be five different types of undergraduate degrees in Pakistan
🔅(1) Four year B.S. program
This four-year degree will be in science or arts and will be called a bachelor's degree (BS) and the degree will have a relevant field designation.
ie, BS in Physics, BS in Political Science, BS in English
🔅 (2) Four-year professional degree (Requiring licensure)
It will be a four-year degree and the concerned council will grant the license after completion of the degree
i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
Bachelor studies of Nursing (BSN)
🔅 (3) Five-year professional degree (Requiring licensure)
It will be a five-year degree and the concerned council will grant the licenseCurrently, this five-year degree is being offered
i.e. MBBS, DVM, LLB, PHARMACY, ARCHITECTURE ENG
🔅 (4) Four year degree (discipline with council)
This will also be a four-year degree and currently this degree is being offered in different fields i.e. BUSINESS STUDIES, COMPUTER SCIENCE, AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY
🔅 (5) Two Year AD Degree (AD)
It will be a two-year degree replacing the BA and is usually taught at an affiliated college
Compulsory courses(13)
(1) You shall take these thirteen (13) courses (related to natural, social sciences, arts and humanities and philosophy) in every undergraduate degree whether it is a science degree or an arts degree or a professional degree. They must read. shall be. What will be the benefit of it?
If, after one year or more of starting the degree, you feel that you want to change your major/subject to another major/subject, you can change the major/subject as per the rules and regulations of the University. (Discussions are ongoing with various accreditation councils of HEC to implement this principle in professional degree programs – for example you are doing mechanical engineering and after two years you get into chemical engineering)
Among these thirteen courses are courses in the fields of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences. So you will get a taste and understanding of different fields. They also include courses in improving English writing and Quantitative Reasoning, which will enhance your analytical skills.
(2) Universities shall be asked to prepare a combined or combined merit list, based on the Aptitude Test. As students will be taught almost same general courses everywhere and at the end of 4th semester, universities can give the student his preferred major/subject by conducting merit test. INTERNSHIP
(3) If you are in any undergraduate degree program whether it is Science or Arts or Humanities etc., you must do at least nine (09) weeks of internship during the course of the degree.
Practice learning module
(4) If you are in any undergraduate degree program whether it is Science or Arts or Engineering or Humanities etc., you must complete the Practical Learning Module for at least four hours per week for at least four (04) semesters during the course of the degree. Switching of BS into AD or AD into BS degree
If you are enrolled in your four/five year undergraduate program and do not want to pursue a full four/five year degree and you have completed four semesters, you can complete your undergraduate degree by obtaining a two-year associate degree (AD) from the university. Can leave the program.
Not only this, but later on, you can always re-join the undergraduate program by using your Associate Degree (AD) from the 5th semester by fulfilling the university rules and regulations- Also, Associate Degree (AD) students can also take admission in the undergraduate program from the fifth semester by fulfilling the rules and regulations of the University.
Major/Minor
(5) You can do your degree in one major or double majors or one major and one minor or one major and two minors etc. -
Like you.BS physics. Major in y and Minor in Anthropology (one Major, one Minor). or BS Chemistry and Physics (two majors)
Or BS Major in Chemistry and Minors in Journalism and English (one Major, two Minors).
(6) The University will assign you an Advisor with whose advice you will take any decision- HEC is further clarifying this process and will soon begin training universities on the new policies.

Good news for all employees:
The federal government has withdrawn the new tax reform slab system for government employees in the recent budget due to the pressure of employee organizations and allied parties because even now all employees are paying the highest tax of 375 billion rupees which is more than all sectors.
Apart from this, the proposals of pensioners reforms were also withdrawn. These reforms will not be applicable to the present service and pensioners but it is proposed to be applied to the employees who will be recruited in the future.

A pleasure boat

A pleasure boat meets with an accident at sea, a husband and wife couple are also on board, after going to the lifeboat they realize that there is only one person left in it.
